Event Caddie Supports Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation

Event Caddie gets in the swing for this year’s Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation golf event, with Alan Hansen.

The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation hosted their 10th annual Alan Hansen Golf Classic on 17th September 2009, supported by Hilton Liverpool raising an amazing £28,000 on the day.

The event was attended by a host of celebrity golfers each taking their turn to tee off at Hillside Golf Club. Playing alongside Alan Hansen were Liverpool FC legends Gary Gillespie and Phil Neal, who joined Hilton Liverpool’s Marcus Magee for a day of golf, followed by a sportsman’s dinner where guests were entertained by comedian Bobby Kaye.

Event Caddie hosted the nearest the pin competition donating a Bushnell Tour V2 laser rangefinder on the day and will be supporting the event again this year on 16th September.
