Event Caddie is proud to be a sponsor of the forthcoming annual Bewdley Rowing Regatta. This will be held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th July 2010.

This event continues to grow annually and is very popular in the rowing calendar due in part to its timing; it comes after the National Championships and Henley regattas, and many rowers come to enjoy the great atmosphere and locality of Bewdley town.

With races every couple of minutes between 8am and 6pm this weekend regatta is Bewdley Rowing Club’s main annual event. It attracts entries from clubs up and down the country. Racing takes place downstream on the River Severn, for around 800m on Saturday and 600m on Sunday, finishing at the Rowing Club.

Event Caddie gets in the swing for this year’s Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation golf event, with Alan Hansen.

The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation hosted their 10th annual Alan Hansen Golf Classic on 17th September 2009, supported by Hilton Liverpool raising an amazing £28,000 on the day.

The event was attended by a host of celebrity golfers each taking their turn to tee off at Hillside Golf Club. Playing alongside Alan Hansen were Liverpool FC legends Gary Gillespie and Phil Neal, who joined Hilton Liverpool’s Marcus Magee for a day of golf, followed by a sportsman’s dinner where guests were entertained by comedian Bobby Kaye.

Event Caddie hosted the nearest the pin competition donating a Bushnell Tour V2 laser rangefinder on the day and will be supporting the event again this year on 16^th September.
